Dr Annalisa Masi
She graduated from University of Rome “La Sapienza” in Chemistry (2000) and obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science at University of Rome “La Sapienza” (2006). From 2003 to 2010 she obtained different collaboration grants conferred by Institute of Crystallography-CNR. During her formation and postdoctoral work experience she increased her expertise in the: chemistry of nucleic acids (design, synthesis and characterization),  synthesis of the modified phosphoramidites and their use in automatic synthesis, study of the structure-function relationships in proteins and nucleic acids, in their complexes between them and with small molecules. From 2011 she is permanent researcher atISOF-CNR. At the present she is active in the design and synthesis of bioactive molecules for the study of oxidative DNA damage, enzymatic repair system and biomarkers discovery. She was member of organizing committee of ECM “Aspetti Molecolari di Prevenzione e Salute” in Rome (2016) and ITWIIN Conference Award Bologna (2016). She is member of organizing committee of ECM “Accademia dei Meccanismi Molecolari” in Bologna from 2019 . Advisor Board Member of the Rep Eat Programme Grant Agreement (2017).
